Lake Erie…

Thursday travelled about 75 miles, fairly uneventful other than 20 -25 mph winds, not a lot of rain, 4-5′ waves head on. Found out how well the windshield wipers work!

Today calmer seas, wind at our backs, until we got close to Erie PA where we are docked for the night. Supposed to have a cold front move through with 40 mph winds and thunderstorms- oh boy.

Did play chicken with a freighter today – they won, I let them pass. Tomorrow headed to Port Colborne on the SE corner of Lake Erie and the entrance to the Welland Canal to Lake Ontario, about 70 miles away.
